What does Data Drop LLC Collect From Me?
Registration and Support
When you register to use the Data Drop website or application, or contact us for support, we (Data Drop LLC) will collect information that identifies you. This may include your name, company, address, phone number, email address, payment information, job title, or other type of identification. This information is required to allow normal operation of the Service.
We also collect information about how you use our website and application, including when you use specific features. We may collect information that your browser or device sends automatically when you visit our website or utilize our application. For example, your browser may tell us how you arrived at our website such as through a search engine or referral page. Depending upon the source, your information may be anonymous or it may be associated with you.
Team Member Data
Account owners (lead accounts) may add team members to their account. When doing so, the account owner provides personal information about those team members, including name, email address, and timezone. Data Drop LLC stores this information to enable team functionality within the Service. Team members added in this way are managed by the account owner and governed by the same privacy practices described in this policy.
Application Data
The Service is designed to store chemistry test results, equipment data, and related records submitted by you and your team. This data is owned by you and is used solely to provide the Service. Data Drop LLC does not use your application data for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service.
Emails
Emails that we send to you may include a web beacon that tells us whether you have received or opened the email, or clicked a link within the email. If you do not want us to collect this information for marketing purposes, you may choose to opt out of marketing emails.
Buttons, Tools, and Content from Other Companies
Our public marketing website (datadrop.co) may include buttons or content that link to other companies’ products or services, such as social media platforms. When you interact with these features, your information may be transmitted to those other companies. Please read the privacy policies of those companies for more information. Does Data Drop LLC Use Cookies?
Like most websites and applications, Data Drop LLC uses cookies and similar technologies to make our website and application work correctly, to maintain your session, and to learn more about how users interact with our Service.
Analytics & Session Tools
On our public marketing website (datadrop.co), we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use our pages so that we can improve them. Through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay of public pages, these tools may set first- and third-party cookies and collect anonymized usage data such as pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, scroll depth, and approximate location. User-entered information, such as form fields, is masked and is not captured. These analytics tools run only on the public marketing and sign-in pages — they are not present within the authenticated application, and they do not collect your chemistry test results, customer records, or other application data. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses data through Clarity, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
